The Instagram Story

If you go by technical language , Instagram is a free photo sharing program launched in October 2010 that allows users to take a photo, apply a digital filter to it, and then share it on a variety of social networking services, including Instagram's own. A distinctive feature confines photos to a square shape, similar to Kodak Instamatic and Polaroid images, in contrast to the 4:3 aspect ratio typically used by mobile device cameras.

Instagram was initially supported on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch; in April 2012, the company added support for Android camera phones running 2.2 (Froyo) or higher. It is distributed via the iTunes App Store and Google Play.

Simply stating , Instagram is an idea ... which has its base confined with sharing of thoughts . As all of us know , how common and necessary social networking is today , the genesis of this boon is nothing but a way to express your thoughts . The idea came into existence when  when Kevin Systrom and Michel "Mike" Krieger (the founders) chose to focus their multi-featured HTML5 check-in projectBurbn on mobile photography . The product launched in Apple's App Store on October 6, 2010.

I believe one is at his best when he is able to express his inner thoughts be it by written stuff , music , words depending on your expertise and none the less photographs also . How about you feel like you are on a move and you see a beautiful rainbow with a drizzle on a brand new car you own . You get an inner thought to live the moment , capture it , share it .

If you do get these feelings , Instagram is a helping companion .. with which you can capture a moment , edit it for which the application provides a lot of  options , by editing it means giving it your own flavor ... share it ...  

The peers following you , gets a notification with speed of light that you have something interesting to share or infact cheer . they might like it which makes you feel amazing about yourself . Thats the beauty of photosharing .

Very recently , facebook has stepped forward to acquire Instagram , which is valid enough , though it was a billion dollar deal , as we know how popular facebook is as of now and how popular an idea associated with facebook can be going forward .
